New electronic services for issuing construction permits and state supervision of construction

Asseco Lithuania signed a contract with the State Territorial Planning and Construction Inspectorate for modernization of information system „Infostatyba“ and development of new electronic services related to issuing construction permits and state supervision of construction.

In October 2013 Asseco Lithuania signed a contract with the State Territorial Planning and Construction Inspectorate for modernization of information system „Infostatyba“ and development of new electronic services. The total contract value is over 3 million litas. Project is financed by EU structural funds.

The project aims to modernize information system „Infostatyba“ and develop advanced electronic services related to issuing construction permits and state supervision of construction.

A scope of information system „Infostatyba“ is to manage data about a construction condition and state supervision of construction, also to provide related information and public services to society.

It is planned to create 25 new e-services (like issuing permits, approvals, specials requirements) that would be provided in a portal www.planuojustatyti.lt based on “one-window” principle.

The project also covers implementation of a data exchange with information systems and registries of different Lithuanian institutions, and a functionality of signing by e-signature. The developed mobile technologies will allow users to report unauthorized construction in a more convenient and operative way, also to track a progress of processing the submitted applications.

With this project it is expected to reduce an average time spent for getting a construction related document by 60 percent.

The project is planned to be completed in the 1Q of 2015.
