Victories of the Lithuanian team at the World Polonia Games of 2023

In August 2023, Poland hosted the 21st World Polonia Summer Games. This sport event brings together active Polish communities from all over the world. They participate in various competitions: running, badminton, table tennis, outdoor tennis, swimming, basketball, beach volleyball, shooting, cycling. More than 600 competitors from 26 countries took part in the games this year. The youngest participant of the Games was just 5-year-old Aneta from Lithuania. The oldest participant was the 87-year-old Stanislov also from Lithuania.

Asseco Lithuania has been supporting the Lithuanian-Polish basketball team since 2013. This year, the team took the 1st place in the basketball competition, thus justifying the name of the basketball country for several years in a row. Team members also are proud of the 2nd place in shooting, swimming and outdoor tennis competitions. Lithuania collected 117 medals (42 gold, 33 silver and 42 bronze) and took 2nd place in the overall list of countries.
