Asseco Lithuania sponsored basketball team won the 1st place in the World Polonia games

In July 27 - August 3, 2019 Gdynia (Poland) hosted the World Polonia Summer Games, a sport event organized every two years for Polish communities living outside of Poland. This year it was organized for the 19th time. The participants take part in various sport competitions and have together fun.

Asseco Lietuva has been supporting the Lithuanian Poles Basketball Team since 2013. This year the team defeated all the competitors and won the 1st place in a basketball competition. The Lithuanian team also took part in a handball competition and won the 2nd place.

In addition to basketball Asseco Lithuania also sponsors other sport activities like events of the Lithuanian Association of Disability Billiards and Social project Christmas Games. The company's employees are active in sport. Once a week the company grants its employees a possibility to play basketball, so this sport has become an integral part of our life. In addition to basketball they can enjoy fitness, sauna and pool. The company organizes internal table football tournaments and other sporting activities.
